These are times when no one should think they are indispensable; let’s be careful of what we say and how we treat others!
A life time of hard work, achievement and prestige can go up in smoke by our own words or actions, when we falsely think that because of who we are in society we can do or say what we like and treat others as door mats or with disrespect, use and abuse them!
Quite frankly people are sick and tired … the very same people who helped you to rise, will lead in bringing you down with a bang, when your words and actions become too much for them to bare or you cross the bar of common decency and respect for your fellow man!
We reap what we sow!
Some people may judge you negatively based on what they perceive to be your shortcomings. Forgive them.
If only they knew that those same perceived shortcomings enable you to praise the LORD daily for being El Shaddai, your sufficiency (more than enough God!), then they would see the blessings therein and rejoice with you!
“34Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do.” (Luke 23:34 KJV)
Though the journey has been long and hard, been through peaks and troughs, the mountain top and valley, hiked in crooked and straight paths and walked with the mean and saintly, I can truly say “I’m happy to be me”.
There is a message deep within to the struggling in whose minds gloom persists and they wonder why they exist and with all their might happiness, they resist.
Accept the pains and strains as you do the gains and blessed rains ‘cause every grey cloud is but for a moment to learn and grow in the present that the bitter as the sweet is also relevant.
Relevant to turning the page to life’s a next chapter.
Important to opening the door into new pasture and
significant to learning lessons, so you can truly say “I’m happy to be me”.

As believers in Christ, the “seed of Abraham”, we can draw encouragement from the fact that because we have the faith of Abraham, we too like Abraham, his son and grandson are declared righteous and guaranteed victory in our journey to fulfil our destiny. A journey that is full of challenges which includes promises that may take longer than we desire. Waiting on the promises of God is not easy, but we have Abraham, Isaac and Jacob as our role models for despite waiting for a long time for the fulfilment of God given promises, they came to pass.
Our God is faithful so let us rest in Him and exercise our faith, waiting patiently for all that He has planned for us.
